Masterson’s Pub , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , advertises itself as a stylish, alternative venue , but my latest trip at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I experienced behind its walls was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

From the moment I crossed the threshold, it was evident that hygiene was not a priority at this bar . The ground was covered in grime , and a overpowering stench of stale beer and uncleaned toilets suffused the entire establishment . Emitting a scent of a mixture of urine , putrefaction and a sickly smell.
